Ends must be extinguished and placed in the ash tray. Cigarette ends found outdoors will be charged $50 each to group coordinator/organizer.

Guests may bring their own, but for the safety and comfort of all our guests, please drink responsibly. There are several establishments to purchase locally as well. Hotel Hamilton and/or employees will not be held responsible for any incidents. Any guest who becomes inebriated & disorderly will be asked to leave the property and will forfeit all payments. Illegal substances are not permitted at the hotel. Violation of this policy will result in the proper authorities being notified, guest being asked to leave the property, and forfeiture of all monies due for the reservation.

Guests, Children, and Pets at the Inn

We cater to the comfort, privacy and security of our registered guests. Guests’ visitors are only permitted on the property with prior innkeeper approval.

Home Inn Hamilton is regarded as a quiet escape and romantic getaway for most of our guests, and we work hard to foster that environment.  In our “Carriage House Condo” or “Quilters Paradise” units, children may stay when accompanied by a responsible adult.

We regret that we are not able to accommodate guest pets. We do have animals on the property. We have an operating farm. All our animals MUST stay outside at all times.

Service animals may only be on the property with their patient and with permission of facility owners as well as group coordinator/organizer. These arrangements must be made at least 30 days of arrival.

Wedding Night Stays & Other Visitors

If you are booking a stay for your wedding night, please be advised that our guest rooms, common areas and grounds are for our registered guests only. Booking a reservation for a stay does not entitle a bride or groom (or any booking guest), family and friends, to use any guest room or any part of the Inn or grounds for bridal party wedding preparations and photographs without the Innkeeper’s approval and will incur the appropriate fees.

Photography & Outside Guests

While we understand that our grounds and home are the perfect setting for your photographs, we do not allow outside photographers or group/family/graduation/wedding/etc. photographs without prior permission of the Innkeeper, and only if no guests are staying at the Inn. A $100/hour fee for use of the grounds will be charged and payable at the end of the session. Guests who are not staying in a room at the Inn are strictly forbidden from entering the Inn or using its facilities such as the gazebo or outbuildings. To insure privacy, photographs of our guests are not permitted without their prior permission. Persons found to be on property taking personal photographs without permission or enjoying our facilities without being a guest, will be considered trespassers and subject to the penalties of that violation.

Registered guests are encouraged to take pictures of the landscape, animals and their experiences while staying at the Inn.

The Inn and its property are for the use of registered guests only. Non-registered guests may join a breakfast or arrive to provide transportation for guests. Depending upon the total usage of the Inn, arrangements may be available for visitors with advance notice.

Additional Information

  • Do not disconnect or change the wiring for any TV or electrical equipment. Contact innkeeper for assistance.

  • The sewer system cannot handle feminine hygiene items or large amounts of toilet paper. These will block the toilets.

  • Common areas are to be enjoyed by all guests. Please enjoy yourself while respecting other guests.

  • Many of our neighbors have working farms. There are common sounds and sights that our guests should expect during their stay in our country setting. These include but are not limited to: 4 wheelers, combines and tractors, semi-truck/dump trucks, cows, horses & dogs.

  • We have added a few animals into the mix on the farm. Bunnies, goats, ducks, chickens, kittens, pig, miniature donkey & miniature horse. You are invited to watch them play. Please do not go into the barn. We don’t want to be on a chase with our animals!

  • Other items to spot on the property are beautiful song birds, birds of prey, squirrels, wild rabbits & other critters, muskrat, birds & owls. We have a resident barn owl. He is beautiful and we hope you have the chance to see him in flight. Occasionally you will also see Bald Eagle and Blue Herring!

  • We are surrounded by nature. The howling of coyotes will encourge the barking of dogs. Please be aware of this possibility.

  • Zoning ordinance is limited to 16 guests at a time.

  • RV and tent camping is NOT allowed on the property. Anyone coming to our property in an RV must reserve and accommodate a guest room and may not stay overnight in the RV.
